Here's a quick run down of the shades I picked up.
MAC Half 'N Half
An amplified shade in a neutral brown with warm pink undertones. Perfect paired with a cat-eye and falsies. A great everyday nude, usually lasts up to 2/3 hours.
MAC Velvet Teddy
Velvet Teddy is a creamy, full coverage pink nude shade. Perfect paired with a smokey eye and not guilty of corpse lips. It is part of MAC's permanent range and is an amplified finish.
MAC Kinda Sexy
Neutral pink rose with a matte finish, opaque colour pay off and apples evenly. With warm undertones of pink and beige, this shade compliments a smokey eye and a contoured face. It's neither drying or hydrating, usually lasts up to 4 hours.
MAC Faux
Faux is a muted cool-toned mauve pink with a satin finish. Opaque colour pay off with a subtle creamy shine. Good longevity, needs to be re-applied after eating.
MAC Flat Out Fabulous
Cool-toned bright pink plum in a retro matte finish. Yes it's drying but it's workable. Part of MAC's recent launched/re-launched 'The Matte Collection'. Now a permanent shade, its truly worth picking up. It's something a little different.
MAC Mehr
Cool-toned pink, with both blue and brown undertones. A matte finish that is comfortable to wear with good longevity and not too drying. Perfect paired with MAC Sour lip liner. An ode to Kylie Jenner.
MAC Relentlessly Red
A brightened coral matte with medium/dark undertones. Incredible longevity due to the retro matte formula, drying on the lips so best applied after a heavy coat of lip balm or eight hour cream. A brighter pink and less warm-toned alternative to MAC All Fired Up.
MAC Dark Side
A deep cool-toned burgundy red with an amplified finish. Opaque and applies evenly, best paired with a lip liner to seal the deal.
Now I'm not saying buy 8 new lipsticks, who does that? oh right I do, but treat yourself to a shade that makes you feel special.
